Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using any Stackwares app, website or service (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services on devices you own or control, for your own lawful purposes. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Services except where permitted by applicable law or an open-source licence we publish.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features may be sold as one-time purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions processed by Apple or Google. Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by the relevant app store under its own terms. Refunds are subject to the store's refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to break the law, infringe others' rights, transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or generate content that is unlawful, harmful or abusive. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.
6. AI-generated content
Several of our apps use artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Always verify important information before relying on it.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, design, trademarks and content we provide, remain the property of Stackwares and its licensors. Content you create or upload remains yours; you grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Services.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stackwares is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the Services evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Stackwares' principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
