Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how Stackwares handles personal information in our apps and on our websites. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your personal data.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: account details such as an email address, content you create in an app, and messages you send to support.
Information collected automatically: device model, operating system version, app version, language, crash reports and aggregated usage events used to fix bugs and prioritise features.
Purchase information: subscription and purchase status supplied by Apple or Google. We never receive your full payment card details.
3. How we use information
To provide and maintain app functionality, sync your data across your devices, process purchases and entitlements, respond to support requests, diagnose crashes, and improve our products. Where required, we rely on your consent; otherwise we rely on legitimate interests or performance of our contract with you.
4. AI processing
Apps with AI features send the prompt or content needed to fulfil your request to third-party model providers. We instruct providers not to use your content to train their models where that option is available, and we do not send more than the request requires. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI features.
5. Encryption and security apps
In our password manager and authenticator apps, vault contents are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master secret. We cannot read that data and cannot recover it if you lose your master secret.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Services — cloud hosting, crash reporting, analytics, AI model providers and app store billing — under contracts limiting their use of it. We may also disclose information where legally required, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services or meet legal obligations. Deleting your account removes associated content from our active systems, with backups expiring on a rolling schedule.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing. Email us and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their personal information; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date below the heading. Significant changes may also be announced in-app.
